Job Description
We are currently accepting skilled Shuttle Service Drivers who will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from designated locations. In this position, you will be expected to operate shuttle vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, and provide exceptional customer service to passengers.
- Arriving at pick up points prior to departure times.
- Transporting passengers to and from locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensuring adherence to passenger limits in seated capacity.
- Avoiding high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible.
- Separating physical fights and calming verbal altercations, as needed.
- Recording and reporting all minor and major accidents and incidents to your supervisor.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the shuttle vehicle.
- Conducting regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Reporting any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations while driving the shuttle vehicle.
- Providing excellent customer service to passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a passenger van or shuttle bus.
- Outstanding knowledge of applicable transport and safety codes.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent route planning abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Working knowledge of pertinent car maintenance and restoration techniques.
