Job Description
A Specialist I Accounts Payable is responsible for managing and performing all aspects of the accounts payable process in an organization. They ensure that invoices are accurately processed, payments are made on time, and all financial records are properly maintained.
Key responsibilities of this role include verifying the accuracy of invoices, reconciling vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies, and maintaining communication with vendors. The Specialist I Accounts Payable also collaborates with other departments to ensure timely processing of payments and accurate financial reporting.
To excel in this role, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in using accounting software are essential. The ability to work independently and meet deadlines is also crucial.
