Job Description
The Station Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a gasoline station. They are tasked with managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining inventory and stock levels, and adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the gasoline station, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor fuel inventories and place orders to maintain optimum stock levels.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the station premises, pumps, and equipment.
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to safety protocols.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor cash handling procedures, reconcile sales, and ensure accurate accounting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and maintain good working relationships.
