Job Description
As a Strategic Procurement Manager at AirAsia, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our purchasing process and ensuring efficient procurement of goods and services. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and developing strong supplier relationships. Your focus will be on identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide support in procurement processes.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Strategic Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
