Job Opening: Strategic Procurement Officer

Brief Summary:

The Strategic Procurement Officer is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize the acquisition of goods and services. This role involves supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, and cost management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
• Regularly update and maintain the vendor database, ensuring accurate and current information.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement strategies where necessary.
• Implement cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising quality or service.
• Perform other tasks assigned from time to time.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years proven experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience in SAP/NetSuite system.
