Job Description
A Supply Planner is responsible for managing supply chain activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to meet customer demands. This role involves analyzing data, creating production plans, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to optimize inventory levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Analyzing demand and supply data to forecast inventory needs
- Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock forecasts
- Coordinating with production and logistics teams to streamline operations
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and knowledge of supply chain management principles. Strong communication and negotiation skills are also essential for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
