Job Description
A Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of computer systems and network infrastructure. They ensure the smooth running of hardware, software, and network components, while also addressing any technical issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring computer systems and network devices.
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, email, and anti-virus strategies.
- Back up and recovery of data.
- Identifying and implementing security measures to protect the system from cyber threats.
The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team. They should also have knowledge of various operating systems, databases, and network protocols.
