Job Description
A Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the computer systems and networks of an organization. They ensure the smooth operation of systems, performance optimization, and security. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, software, and networks
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Managing user accounts and permissions
- Performing backups and recovery
- Ensuring system security and data protection
- Collaborating with other IT professionals for system enhancements
The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
