Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting. As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
