Job Description
A Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing tax advice to clients or organizations. They analyze financial records, compute taxes owed, and perform audits to identify potential tax deductions or credits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and filing tax returns for individuals or organizations
- Reviewing financial records and identifying tax-saving opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Conducting audits to minimize tax liabilities and prevent penalties
- Providing tax advice and guidance to clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
