Job Description
Job Description:
- Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports, and maintain a company’s tax database.
- Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings.
- Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits.
- Ensure clients comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Advise management on tax liabilities, strategies, and new tax laws.
- Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work and prepare tax reports.
- Keep updated on tax changes and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer.
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Familiarity with accounting software and strong computer skills.
- Understanding of Philippine tax laws, keen attention to detail.
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; industry certification is advantageous.
