Job Description
Overall responsible for tax, statutory and regulatory compliance to various government agencies which includes PEZA, BIR, SEC and NSO. Ensures timely and accurate compliance to tax requirements with tax expenses and tax-based assets and liabilities are properly recorded in the financial records. Researching potential tax exposure/risks of the financial activities to be taken by the company and assist in drafting for internal reportorial requirements. Lead the coordination with and provide the requirements of tax auditors and /or consultants with respect to tax audits and assessment. Manages the preparation of the overall PEZA reporting requirements. Coordinate with the Finance Manager in the development and implementation of process improvements relating to taxation and regulatory compliance. Manage the day-to-day banking requirements.
Support the Finance Manager on the preparation of daily, weekly cash flow reports. Perform other duties assigned.
Key Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate across the organization and with external parties.
- College Graduate Preferably CPA
- At least 3 years relevant experience
