Manages the planning, hardware installation and configuration, optimization, operations, and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. Oversees system performance, the monitoring of equipment, and the management of vendor relationships. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
