Job Description
As a Team Leader for the IT Service Desk, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and providing guidance to a team of IT support professionals. Your main objective will be to ensure efficient and effective resolution of technical issues raised by employees and clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of IT support staff, providing mentorship and support.
- Monitor and prioritize incoming support requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Train team members on IT protocols, troubleshooting techniques, and customer service skills.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of support tickets, resolutions, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or related roles.
- Strong technical background in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
