Job Description
- Primarily responsible for handling calls and e-mails received via ITG Help Desk hotlines and mailbox.
- Accurately log all requests received on ME SDP Ticketing System and continuously monitor their status.
- Ensure timely resolution of all reported IT-related problems and/or requests within the set standards.
- Log and assign incident ticket numbers for all IT-related incidents as reported or escalated by other IT units or groups, in coordination with the Incident Management Team.
- Monitor and update the status of incidents accordingly.
- Receive and handle service requests, following agreed procedures.
- Promptly assign calls to the appropriate parties.
- Record and maintain incidents and service requests:
- Identify and categorize incident types and service interruptions.
- Log incidents with details of symptoms and resolutions.
- Record and track reliability data for services under guidance.
- Analyze user problems and provide solutions, considering potential side effects.
- Utilize experience and database resources to address user problems effectively.
- Escalate complex or unresolved incidents as required.
- Ensure comprehensive recording and tracking of issues from initiation to resolution.
- During change, respond systematically to operational needs, ensuring minimal service disruptions and compliance with SLA and information security requirements.
- Respond to common service requests by providing relevant information for fulfillment.
- Efficiently allocate unresolved calls to appropriate support teams.
- Maintain accurate records, update users on the process, and inform relevant individuals of actions taken.
