Job Description
This position primarily entails providing assistance to clients in delivering over-the-counter services at the bank. Responsibilities include accepting deposits, servicing withdrawals, processing Pera Padala cash in/cash out, and assisting clients with bank account opening procedures.
Bank Teller Functions:
- Process daily bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, encashments, time deposits, special savings deposits, and cash loan releases.
- Receive and release money from/to clients.
- Note and verify significant information required by bank policy, such as specimen signatures.
- Follow standard procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery to clients.
- Ensure adherence to bank procedures when performing transactions on the teller machine and other equipment as required.
- Balance the working fund in the assigned cash drawer.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of any four-year course, preferably business-related.
- Experience: At least one (1) year of work experience in any related field.
- Specific Knowledge: Proficiency in New Accounts Operations and Bank Teller functions.
