Job Description
A Treasury Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities and cash flow of a company. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the company’s financial operations are efficient and effective.
The main responsibilities of a Treasury Manager include:
- Managing and forecasting cash flows to optimize the company’s liquidity position.
- Developing and implementing cash management strategies and policies.
- Managing relationships with banking partners and negotiating favorable terms for financing and banking services.
- Monitoring and reporting on financial risk, including foreign exchange risk and interest rate risk.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Supervising treasury staff and providing guidance on treasury operations.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a strong background in finance and treasury management, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
