Position: Truck Sourcing/ Vendor Manager

Location: Alabang

Work Setup: Onsite

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Sourcing/ Vendor Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing truck vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions for our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Vendor Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard truck vendors that meet the company’s transportation needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable service and competitive pricing.
• Truck Sourcing: Source trucks for various transportation requirements, including full truckload (FTL) and less than truckload (LTL) shipments. Negotiate rates and terms with truck owners and operators.
• Vendor Management: Oversee vendor performance through regular monitoring and evaluation. Address any issues or concerns promptly to maintain service levels and resolve disputes effectively.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with truck vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Review and revise contracts as necessary to reflect changing business needs.
• Cost Management: Analyze transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality. Implement cost-effective solutions and initiatives.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all trucks sourced meet safety and regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal teams to uphold quality assurance and compliance measures.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to track vendor performance, transportation efficiency, and cost trends. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management review.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the vendor management and truck sourcing processes. Implement best practices and initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in truck sourcing, vendor management, or logistics operations.
• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve favorable terms and rates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and logistics management software.
