Job Description
1. Ensure and monitor all vessels for company compliance and navigation.
2. Communicate with other ship operators about navigating safety rules and regulations.
3. Weather conditions are monitored to safeguard the vessel and crew’s safety.
4. Using tide, current, and wind patterns to guide the tugboat through challenging waters or limited passageways.
5. Inspecting onboard safety standards by enforcing regulations governing safety equipment, fire drills, and other procedures.
6. Responsible for all vessel operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a tugboat as a mate.
- Proficient in survival craft and rescue boats.
- The candidate must have the following qualities:
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills
- Keen on details.
- Good communication skills.
- Leadership skills
- Willing to be assigned to any location as required.
