Job Description:
- Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process
- Verifying that transactions are recorded correctly in the supplier ledger, customer ledger and nominal/general ledger
- Reconciling all control accounts (bank, customers, suppliers, PAYE)
- Enter month/period-end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
- Bringing the books to the trial balance stage
- Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns
- Possibly prepare management accounts and reports
Qualifications:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Proficiency in English
- Customer service contact occasionally
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php35,00.00 – Php50,00.00 per month
