Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to be responsible for providing diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients, answering questions, and providing support.
- Programming and adjusting the scanner for specific procedures, ensuring comprehensive image capture.
- Deciding on still images (sonograms) to present to Physicians for diagnostic purposes.
- Evaluating image quality and interpreting images to assist Physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases.
- Maintaining patients’ records and medical notes on ultrasound procedures.
- Maintaining and sterilizing ultrasound equipment and procedure rooms.
Qualifications:
- Preferably with at least 1 year of work experience performing ultrasound procedure.
- Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work long shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
