Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists the Department Head in the assessment of risks and preparation of policies and processing of claims.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conducts regular monthly review of all existing policies that are due for renewal
- Prepares the appropriate renewal recommendation to the Department Head to ensure the correctness and sustain value of each account
- Prepares the duly approved renewal notices to ensure timely delivery of the notices to the policyholders or producers and MAA branches
- Conducts regular monthly follow-ups and accounting of renewal business to ensure the timely confirmation of renewal policies
- Process and validate data and documents of each business referrals duly received by the department
- Conducts preliminary review of the applications and policy reports and form for specific details as necessary
- Ensures timely issuance of policy related transactions such as quotations and renewals including applicable changes to be documented and recorded accurately
- Generate new business through customer and business referrals through timely communication and response.
- Attend to customer inquiries regarding electronic and written forms practices and procedures and maintain accurate record keeping
· Advises the Immediate Superior of any incident or any pertinent information needed that may occur for effective and proper communication. Initially seeks advice in undertaking any appropriate action. Responsible for any action taken without proper authority.
· Provides assistance and/or undertakes other assignments or special projects that maybe assigned from time to time.
