Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Routinely interact with community business office regarding accounting functions
  • Review community business office manager’s pre-close reporting for assigned properties.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements for multiple entities and other related reporting requirements.
  • Bank statement reconciliations for corporate and assigned properties.
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned properties.
  • Create transfer requests for intercompany account reconciliations.
  • Update and initiate PM Fee and Loan statement manual invoice template
  • Update replacement reserve template and gather supporting documentation.
  • Weekly preparation of cash balance updates for assigned properties.
  • Weekly update of capital budget template for assigned properties.
  • Assist with the annual audit for assigned properties.
  • Other Monthly/Quarterly Tasks
  • Prepare and online reporting of beverage and sales tax.
  • Update Pcard spreadsheet and send to all card holders.
  • Prepare Intercompany billings (Recruiter, Bank Fees, Benefits, Postage)
  • Other assigned tasks as needed.
  • Review the weekly payables submitted by the property for their entities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy, preferably CPA with at least 5 years of experience in property accounting
  • Experience in real estate company is a MUST.
  • Knowledgeable in accounting software that the client requires.
  • Conversant in IFRS and US GAAP
  • Very good written and oral communications skills
  • Team Player and collaborate well with others.
  • Works with less supervision
  • Willing to work on a fixed night shift schedule.
  • Amenable to work in a work-at-home arrangement.
