Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in venture capital accounting or a similar field.
• 1+ years of experience in a role with an accounting background.
• You are interested in project management and providing best-in-class service.
• Identify process and quality improvements and highlight them to appropriate leadership.
• Strong accounting analysis with the ability to create balanced, accurate quarterly financial statements from, at times, unstructured client data.
• Committed to team and project success, emotionally intelligent in navigating relationships, and transparent and forthright when communicating information.
• Incredible organizational skills, high attention to detail, and an ability to complete competing priorities quickly and autonomously.
• Ability to communicate in both written and verbal formats in a timely and appropriate manner.

Skills and Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of venture capital accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial systems integration and ledger setup.
• Strong understanding of valuation processes related to VC investments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
