Job Description
SUMMARY
The Vendor Service Representative interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone and email.
- Place outbound calls to customers to obtain additional information.
- Work to resolve any customer concerns and answer any questions.
- Research customer inquiries using available resources.
- Process payments and enrollment requests.
- Call vendors that are not enrolled and begin the enrollment process.
- Direct escalation issues to the designated resource.
- Maintain accurate records of customer correspondence and transactions in the system.
- Work closely with other departments to meet customers’ objectives.
- Provide timely follow-up on all customer inquiries.
- Assist with additional special projects as needed.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of customer service experience handling Spanish bilingual role.
- Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Strong typing skills required; ability to type at least 35 wpm.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Multifamily industry experience strongly preferred.
