The Vetting Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the vetting process to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. They will work closely with various stakeholders to evaluate the background and credentials of potential employees or contractors.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct comprehensive background checks on all potential candidates
- Review and verify credentials, references, and employment history
- Ensure all vetting processes are completed accurately and within established timelines
- Collaborate with hiring managers to provide guidance on vetting requirements and best practices
- Maintain updated records of all vetting activities and ensure data confidentiality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Prior experience in vetting, background checks, or similar role
- Knowledge of relevant legal requirements and industry best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
