Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop video content strategies based on the short- and long-term marketing targets determined by the marketing and brand team
- Conceptualize, shoot, review, and edit video content for company websites, social media channels, and similar platforms
- Brainstorm and suggest new ways to improve our audience growth by tapping into new platforms and channels
- Ensure that the content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws
- Maintain a consistent brand strategy throughout our video content
- Create relevant video content by staying current with pop culture, events, best practices, technology, TikTok, and online trends
- Generate new and valuable video styles, ideas and execute them through engaging video output
- Create memorable, actionable, and shareable content when a topic is gaining popularity
Requirements or Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, literature, marketing, or other related fields
- Experience as a video content creator in prior similar roles, creating strong and engaging content is required
- Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing
- Detail-oriented work style with good time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of various social media platforms
- Ability to work efficiently, maintaining high quality and accuracy
- Has the capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Passionate about creating captivating videos and understands how videos in social media work including audience preferences (what matters to our followers and target audience, how they consume video content and how they engage with our content)
