Job Description
● Directs the daily workflow and schedules of the department, coordinating staff involved in purchasing, selling, and distributing supplies, or materials.
● Drafts and/or reviews supply and service specifications.
● Ensuring compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
● Distributing purchasing information to involved parties including vendors, sales representatives, and employees.
● Reviews and evaluates purchase request forms for accuracy and completeness.
● Gathers, records, and complete purchased data.
● Ensure quality of goods and services purchased.
● Ensure accurate entry of order details into internal database including maintenance of updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
● Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
● Certifies and ensures accuracy of reports on purchase, including cost analyses & monitoring of stock levels.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education. A graduate of any business-related course.
2. Work Experience. Having at least two (2) years relevant supervisory experience. Has adequate knowledge on estimating, planning, inventory management, cost and budgetary preparation, supervision, and best practices in purchasing.
3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills; excellent leadership and managing skills; highly fitted in a fast and dynamic business environment; “can do well do” attitude; trustworthy and result oriented. Must be attentive to detail, thorough, possess a strong work ethic, and be professional and courteous when working with others.
