Job Description
Proper sorting and tracking arrangement of stocks.
Summarizing stocks for picking based on pick list.
Pick and inspect stocks picked on pick list observing the FEFO method of picking.
Labelling, packing or boxing of products prior to shipping whenever necessary.
Turnover stocks picked to checker and deliverymen prior to loading.
Conduct actual counting of stocks before and after picking.
Updating of stock inventory report and reconcile against actual count before the end of his shift.
Ensure that only authorized person is allowed in the stockroom.
Ensure that the stockroom is kept locked when there is no activity.
Regularly monitor and check the expiry date of stock, especially food product and immediately report to superior any items near expiry date or found to be defective for proper disposition.
Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of stockroom before and after picking.
