Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure safe handling and maintenance of transport of all the company’s materials and truck units.
- Assist in the safe loading and unloading of the cargo to be transported to Clients and/or intercompany Sites.
- Assure proper maintenance of the truck and other Delivery Vehicles.
- Assure all materials are safely delivered and transported.
- Assist (if needed) in Warehouse and Delivery in maintaining proper stocking and warehousing.
- Checks daily, truck official documents, like OR, CR, DR, COA, Drivers License, etc prior to departure.
- Ensures all delivered materials are labeled with proper documentation.
- Performs simple maintenance procedures on assigned Delivery Vehicles.
- Maintains cleanliness and operational state of the Delivery Vehicle.
- Documents and logs work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
- Complies with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Collects and verifies delivery instructions.
- Reports defects, accidents, or violations in real-time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate/Vocational course/High School Graduate.
- At least 1-5 years experience as a truck driver or similar role.
- Professional Driver’s License (123).
- Decisive, with a sharp sense to detect defects, resourceful, physically fit, hardworking, with initiative, faithful, self-discipline.
