Job Description
A Workforce Analyst, also known as a Real Time Analyst, is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of a company’s workforce by using data and analytics to optimize staffing levels and schedules in real time. They play a crucial role in maintaining a balanced workload, maximizing productivity, and achieving service level goals.
The primary responsibilities of a Workforce Analyst include:
- Monitoring real-time call volume and agent activity
- Identifying and addressing staffing gaps and surpluses
- Adjusting schedules and breaks to meet demand
- Communicating with team leaders and agents to provide updates and instructions
- Generating reports and analyzing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations are essential for this role. Proficiency in workforce management software and excellent communication skills are also required.
