Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a 2D Unity Game Developer at Game Beats. The developer will be responsible for game programming, gameplay programming, and object-oriented programming (OOP) as well as game design and development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement 2D game features and mechanics.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code in C# or JavaScript.
- Collaborate with artists and designers for art asset integration.
- Optimize game performance and memory usage across platforms.
- Troubleshoot and debug to ensure smooth gameplay.
- Stay updated with industry trends in game development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience in 2D game development using Unity.
- Proficiency in C# or JavaScript programming.
- Strong understanding of game design principles.
- Experience with 2D physics and physics-based gameplay mechanics in Unity.
- Knowledge of game optimization and debugging techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
