Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our development and deployment infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Mastre’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Ruby).
- Proficient with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Hudson).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and tools, particularly AWS (EBS, S3, EC2, Elastic IP, Route 53, VPC).
- Experience with configuration management and automation technologies (e.g., Chef, Puppet).
- Solid understanding of enterprise data center technologies, including storage platforms, network switching, and security infrastructure within a virtualized data center.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate processes.
- Design and implement tools for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure as code, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to development, testing, and production environments.
- Optimize and improve existing systems for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support DevOps best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
