Job Description
This is an internship role for a Veterinarian at VETERAN PETS CARE, located in Islamabad. The primary responsibility of the Veterinarian will be to provide medical care for animals, including diagnosing and treating health issues, administering medication and vaccinations, and performing routine check-ups. The Veterinarian will also be expected to educate pet owners on preventative measures and recommend a treatment plan in the event of illness or injury.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution
- A valid license to practice Veterinary Medicine in Islamabad
- Experience working with domestic animals and/or livestock is preferred
- Knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and the principles of clinical medicine
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with pet owners from a diverse range of backgrounds
- Compassion and sensitivity towards animals
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
