Web development skills are in high demand and well-compensated, making it a great career option. It is one of the few higher-paid fields where a traditional college degree is not a requirement for certification. We are located in Lahore and are looking for a Laravel developer to join our team.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Laravel developer located in Lahore, with the primary responsibility of developing and maintaining web applications using Laravel. The candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging and integrating various plugins and APIs, as well as managing databases and optimizing website performance. We value teamwork and the candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with different functional teams including UX designers and other developers.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in Laravel development or relevant PHP framework
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Ability to write clean and scalable code
- Expertise in developing, debugging, integrating and optimizing APIs
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work proactively on assigned tasks with minimum supervision
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Vue.js, React, and other front-end frameworks is a plus
- Experience working in Agile development methodology is a plus
