Job Description
We are seeking a disciplined Medical Billing Team Lead to manage billing operations and supervise a team responsible for accurate claim submission and denial management. The role ensures compliance with insurance and coding standards (ICD-10/CPT), collaborates with clinical and revenue cycle teams, and readies the department for audits.
- Track and report performance metrics; enforce KPI-driven improvements
- Provide staff training, mentorship, and workflow optimization
- Analyze denials, resolve claims, and maintain documentation accuracy
- 3+ years in medical billing with leadership experience; proficient with billing software/EMR
- Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
- CPC certification and Medicare/Medicaid billing experience preferred
