Job Description
Key Purpose:
- We are hiring on behalf of our client, ALGO, for the position of ‘Head of HR Strategy & D&I.’ The selected candidate will be responsible for this role at one of ALGO’s locations in Karachi and must possess 10 to 15 years of experience in the banking sector.
Knowledge Skills:
- Understanding of regulations and compliance specific to the banking industry.
- Good knowledge of labor laws and SBP regulations.
- Understanding the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and strategies to promote it.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
- Sound decision-making skills, especially in situations requiring quick and well-informed choices.
- Proficiency in managing and leading through organizational change and transformation.
Requirements:
- Key Accountabilities:
- Designated D&I Champion for the Bank. Responsible for actively promoting a diverse, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Expertise in developing, implementing, and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
- Understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and incentive programs in the financial sector.
- Expertise in managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Strategic thinking to align HR practices with overall business goals and objectives.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire HR teams toward achieving organizational objectives.
- Ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop practical and innovative solutions.
- Ability to manage HR projects, such as system implementations or policy rollouts, efficiently.
Essential Qualification:
Education: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on HR or a Master’s in Human Resources Management.
