Job Description
GE Solucions is currently seeking a DME Billing Specialist for the Medical Biller and AR position. This role involves working collaboratively with the ancillary department to handle insurance payments, entering charges for surgeries and other services, assisting patients with their accounts and health claims, and focusing on billing insurance follow-up, denials, and appeals.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring proper documentation in the facility’s billing system
- Preparing and submitting accurate and timely billing information and processing payments received
- Contacting insurance companies to address any payment discrepancies
- Using billing software to prepare, review, and submit claims
- Striving for zero errors in claim submissions
- Following proper medical and insurance claim processes
- Monitoring unpaid claims and taking necessary actions for timely payment
- Assisting the lead medical biller and other billing staff in submitting accurate claims
- Reviewing claims, invoicing, sorting primary and secondary insurance claims, and identifying necessary attachments
Background Requirements:
- 2+ years of medical practice billing or related experience
- Proficiency in computation, typing, and filing
- Ability to perform simple mathematical computations
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance-related field
- Certification in Billing (preferable)
Job Details:
- Working Days: Monday – Friday
- Job Timings: 6 pm – 3 am
- Location: PECHS, Block 6, Karachi
