Job Description

As the Assistant Director of IT Governance at Telenor Microfinance Bank Limited, you will have a crucial role in managing and overseeing the organization’s Information Technology (IT) policies, processes, and controls. Working closely with senior management, you will contribute to the development and implementation of IT governance frameworks to align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• SRE Governance Framework Development:
  • Develop and implement SRE governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align IT strategies with overall business objectives.
• IT Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess IT-related risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Compliance and Security:
  • Ensure IT practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Oversee information security policies and practices to safeguard data and systems.
• IT Performance Monitoring:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for IT governance.
  • Monitor and report on IT performance to senior management and stakeholders.
• IT Project Governance:
  • Implement SRE project governance processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assess and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Vendor Management:
  • Develop and maintain governance processes for managing third-party vendors.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to security and compliance standards.
• IT Audits and Assessments:
  • Coordinate and participate in IT audits and assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address findings and implement improvements.
• Policy Communication and Training:
  • Communicate IT governance policies and decisions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide training to employees on IT governance principles and practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
