Job Description
Fast track project & Logistics, with its warehouses located at Port Qasim, Karachi, is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop operational strategies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of logistics operations.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a diverse team to achieve departmental goals and maintain a high-performance culture.
- Inbound Operations: Oversee receiving, inspection, and timely put-away of goods into inventory.
- Outbound Operations: Manage order picking, packing, and shipping processes for accurate order fulfillment.
- Inventory Management: Implement control procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and streamlining workflows.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor KPIs related to operational efficiency.
- Vendor Relations: Collaborate with partners for smooth coordination of logistics activities.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage ERP and related technologies for optimization.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on operational performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with warehousing, transportation, and safety regulations.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years as Operations Manager or 5-7 years as AM/DM.
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field, Master’s degree preferred, from a renowned university.
Location: Port Qasim, Karachi.
