Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of category growth initiatives for our Tobacco, Non food & Grocery products.
As a Category Manager, you will analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to develop and implement effective category strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales, optimize assortment, and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category plans to enhance market penetration and sales growth
- Analyze market data and research to identify category insights and opportunities
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to develop effective promotional activities and pricing strategies
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms to achieve mutually beneficial collaborations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Category Management, preferably in the Tobacco, Non food & Grocery industry
- Demonstrated understanding of category strategies and consumer trends
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in market research tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
