Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Engineer with a strong background in AS/400 systems. As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our AS/400 infrastructure to support our business operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth functioning of AS/400 systems and associated hardware and software.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to keep the AS/400 platform secure and up to date.
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in AS/400 technology to suggest improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in working with AS/400 systems is essential.
- Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries operating system and associated software.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in AS/400 environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
