Company Description:
MyTech Engineering Company (Pvt) Ltd. is an EPC, MEP contracting organization based in Karachi. We specialize in fire protection, HVAC (Air conditioning), and electrification. As authorized distributors of Lifeco UK, Akronex Turkey in Pakistan, we design, supply, and install all fire protection products including addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, FM 200, Novec 1230, clean agent gases, fire hydrant systems, water deluge systems, transformer protection systems, and fire sprinklers. We also have expertise in GI ducting, P3 ducting / pre-insulated ducting, and MS piping welding fabrication.
Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fire Alarm Technician. The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining low voltage fire alarm systems. The position will be based in Karachi with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications:
- Low Voltage Engineering and Troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Installation Testing & Commissioning of Addressable & Conventional Fire alarm systems, and customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with local and national fire alarm codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- DAE Electrical / DAE Electronics
- Industry certifications such as NICET, EST, or CFPS are a plus
