Job Description

As a Finance Officer, you will work under the supervision of the Finance Manager, contributing to the maintenance of accurate and organized financial records through the utilization of QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of the Finance Manager to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
• Assist in recording and reconciling transactions, ensuring the integrity of accounts payable and accounts receivable data.
• Monitor general ledger entries and make necessary adjustments.
• Prepare detailed financial reports using Excel under the guidance of the Finance Manager to track financial performance.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in generating periodic financial statements and presenting findings to management.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to assist in the billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.
• Assist in verifying invoices, confirming receipt of goods or services, and processing payments.
• Under the guidance of the Finance Manager, assist in the preparation of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with the HR department to gather necessary payroll information and address payroll-related inquiries.
• Contribute to the development of financial forecasts based on historical data and current trends under the supervision of the Finance Manager.
• Collaborate with other team members to gather relevant information for accurate forecasting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and provide financial support.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management and accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
