Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an HMI and PLC Programmer based in Karachi, with some flexibility to work from home. The HMI and PLC Programmer will be responsible for the programming, testing, and debugging of Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of these systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience developing and programming HMI and PLC systems
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python
- Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) devices, networking, and communication protocols
- Excellent knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to HMI and PLC systems
- Experience with project management, testing, and debugging methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in the manufacturing, automation, and control industry is a plus
