Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. PR Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to ensure PR activities are integrated into the overall marketing plan.
  1. Media Relations:
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Proactively pitch and secure media coverage for OPPO products, events, and brand initiatives.
  1. Influencer Engagement:
  • Identify and engage with influencers in the tech and lifestyle space to amplify brand messaging.
  • Collaborate with influencers for content creation, events, and other promotional activities.
  1. Event Management:
  • Plan and coordinate press conferences, product launches, and other events to generate media coverage.
  • Manage logistics, invitations, and media attendance for events.
  1. Content Creation:
  • Work closely with the content team to develop compelling press releases, articles, and other PR materials.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all PR channels.
  1. Crisis Management:
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and mitigate potential PR issues.
  • Serve as the spokesperson for the brand during crisis situations.
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports on PR performance and impact.
  • Use insights to continuously optimize PR strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on technology or consumer electronics and/or PR Agency
  • Proven track record of successful media relations, influencer engagement, and event management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent project management skills, able to deliver timely.
  • Good team player in a new product launch project, able to collaborate with the team and maximize communication results.
