Role Description

• Assisting in the design and development of the curriculum for various courses and degree programs.
• Assisting in developing a range of degree programs in their field of interest.
• Handle student queries regarding the school and its various programs and activities.
• Manage student enrollment requests. Communicate student issues or requests to relevant faculty or departments.
• Organize regular meetings between faculty and the dean for the purpose of advancing school/department academics and research directives.
• Plan and prepare faculty teaching schedules, and maintain and report their attendance accordingly to the dean and HR.
• To manage or prepare the timetable and course load as per HEC recommendations
• Assist the dean and admission office to facilitate new admissions.
• Handle student queries regarding the department or school and its programs and activities.
• Manage student enrollment requests. Communicate student issues and requests to relevant faculty.
• General supervision of the teaching, research, and related scholarly activities of the department.
• Contribute towards other academically related duties as assigned by the Dean.
• Serve on other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Dean or Pro VC. Conduct classes as per the schedule.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Information Technology and IT management
• Experience in developing and implementing IT strategy
• Experience of Teaching
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree in relevant field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in IT leadership role.
