Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of English at Superior University, located in Sargodha. The Assistant Professor of English will be responsible for creating, developing, and delivering coursework and lesson plans, conducting lectures, grading student work, and advising students. The Assistant Professor of English will also be expected to contribute to curriculum development and participate in university committees and events.
Qualifications
- English Teaching, Teaching, and Curriculum Development skills
- Expertise in Literature and English Literature
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
- Experience in teaching at the university level
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff, as well as contribute to university events and committees
- A PhD in English or a closely related field is preferred, but a Master’s degree in English or a related field with relevant experience will be considered
- Strong research and writing skills, and experience in presenting research at conferences and publishing research in academic journals
