Company Description: Pentagon Food Group (Pakistan) PVT LTD is a multinational business with ISO established in 2017 and headquartered in Islamabad. The business functions across Finance, Customer Service, Tele Sales, Exports, Digital Marketing, Inventory Management, and IT domains. The organization is expanding, with a focus on FMCG Imports/Exports to and from other Group International Sales Offices.

Role Description: The Junior BI Developer role is a full-time position located in Rawalpindi, to work on-site at PFG ISO. The Junior BI Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining data systems to support efficient reporting and analytical processes. The role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge and creative solutions, assisting in identifying data analytics requirements, and driving the implementation of new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Proficiency with data management systems, such as SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlikview.
• Ability to program in languages such as Python or R to process and analyze data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities:

• Must know advanced Excel (Pivot, Power Pivot, Indexing, Lookups, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI & SQL.
• Obtain lead data from online sources.
• Analyze and clean the data at regular intervals to keep it up to date.
• Timely provision of reports in required formats to different departments in the business.
• Work with other departments’ analysts, as a collaborator.
• Maintaining data integrity and security.
• Taking extra security precautions when managing personally identifiable data.
• Adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
• Transforming or transferring data upon request.
• Maintaining data on storage devices such as servers, flash drives, and other external devices.
• Preparing data for meetings and presentations.
• Communicating data reports to clients.
• Ensuring data backup.
