Job Description

I’m seeking profiles for the position of “Plant Manager” located at Port Qasim, Karachi. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the manufacturing or production processes at our facility. You will ensure that production goals are met, quality standards are maintained, and operational efficiency is optimized. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing staff, implementing safety protocols, and collaborating with various departments to achieve overall organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and organizational goals.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to maintain an adequate inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality products.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any product or process-related issues.
• Recruit, train, and supervise plant staff.
• Provide leadership and motivation to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Develop and manage the plant budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the plant.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Keep abreast of changes in regulations affecting the industry and implement necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Experience: Rich experience in plant management.
